Stumbled across this absolute gem while visiting Darwin for a few days, and wow — what a find! If you're after something funky, fresh, and a little different from the usual café scene, this place absolutely delivers. Right in the heart of the city, I had the Chilli Scrambled Egg with Slipper Lobster — hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The coffee was equally outstanding. The vibe is fun and modern, and the service was spot-on: friendly, attentive, and super quick. If you’re in Darwin and looking for a unique foodie experience, this place is a must-visit!

We had such a great experience at Perk and Palate. The meals were absolutely delicious – the Eggs Benedict with bacon and the Chili Scrambled Eggs were both spot on. Presentation was amazing, the coffee was just as good, and the whole place had a really welcoming vibe. Even though it was busy, the staff were super friendly, pleasant, and the service was quick. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great coffee & great service.

Wow! Wow! This place has you covered for breakfast and coffee!!!! So good im going back tomorow and il update my review, the adobo is so, so good! Had a magic coffee and it was perfect. Fair prices too, the service was friendly and helpful! Went back for a second breakfast, the bacon was very nice, they were super busy this time as it was Sunday morning, so it was a bit slower service but still great. I really recommend this place for your coffee fix, and do yourself a favour..... get the chicken adobo eggs Benedict!!!!!!!! It will change your life

I ordered the Matcha Cloud and it was 10/10! As a Japanese person, I finally found a truly authentic matcha flavour. Rich, clean, and not overly sweet like many other places. Absolutely perfect. Amazing work!

It was a big brunch to me. I ordered a chilli scrambled egg which is apparently one of their most-loved meals. The price is sensible given the generous portion and small bites of lobster. The toast is crunchy and the scrambled egg is creamy. I don't mind the spicy sauce despite its quite strong flavour. However to me it's missing something, need another condiment to fill the flavour gap between underseasoned scrambled egg and toast. More stir-fried onion on the side perhaps? Oh the iced matcha drink is light and milky which is a good pair with either sweet or savory foods. It's about preference, but I recommend to drink match with any foods to have a full experience. Overall, it was a good experience. Awesome hospitality and cafe interior setup. Definitely will come back for other dishes
